İş REIC opens the doors of the shopping centers in its portfolio to associations and foundations working to benefit the public by offering them the opportunity to set up stands and carry out publicity activities free-of-charge. The Company extends all necessary cooperation in this area.

The Company made a donation in kind worth TL 99,986 for the aid campaign for directly supplying materials/equipment for public hospitals in order to support the fight against the Coronavirus. Furthermore, the Company donated TL 25,000 to the educational grant fund set up for young girls at secondary/high school and university age who are unable to pursue their education due to financial reasons under the Project “Eğitimli Kızlar Umutlu Yarınlar” conducted by the Turkish Educational Foundation (TEV) in 2020.

During the reporting period, the Company maintained its support to sectoral development by sponsoring the Real Estate Summit organized by GYODER (Association of Real Estate and Real Estate Investment Companies), and the Shopping Mall Investments Conference organized by AYD (Council of Shopping Centers – Turkey).

İş REIC provides gratuitous support to projects in areas that it regards within the scope of its social responsibility such as education, health, culture, law, art, scientific research, environmental protection, and sport. Committed to consistently shaping its approaches, values, and policies within the framework of its corporate social responsibility, the Company will continue to engage in such activities and to provide them with support in the future as well.

During 2017, the Company maintained its support to sectoral development by sponsoring the Evolving Cities Summit organized by GYODER (Association of Real Estate and Real Estate Investment Companies), the Shopping Mall Investments Conference organized by AYD (Council of Shopping Centers – Turkey), Aegean Economic Forum inaugurated by T.R. Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım and heavily attended by the private sector and the public sector, İzmir leg of the Evolving Regions Summit organized by Hürriyet newspaper, and İzmir Occupational Health and Safety Summit organized by the İzmir Association of Industrialists and Businessmen.

2016 marked the onset of a new initiative, which was introduced to reveal our commitment to finding solutions in view of social issues, needs and expectations as İş REIC. Under the initiative launched based on the core values and targets of the İŞ REIC brand along with the positive social influence sought to be created in the public, a process was planned whereby the corporate social responsibility strategy will be jointly determined with the Company employees. Advisory support was received from MarjinalSosyal, our communications agency, in line with our search for devising a real solution that would also serve as an example for the sector for a social issue or need aligned with the values embedded in our Company and brand, and related to our field of activity and our expertise. The voluntary team efforts initiated within this context continued throughout the year. The goal is to identify the priority fields, in which we will be working, and to devise and introduce the social projects we will be conducting in these areas at the end of this process.

In a bid to undertake a participative role in encouraging all segments of the society –male and female, young and old– to take part in sports, İş REIC continued to extend its long-going support to the Konak Municipality Youth and Sports Club Women’s Football Team in 2016, which competes in the Turkish Football Federation’s Women’s Premier League and which qualified to take part in the Turkey Championship.

In 2016, the Company maintained its support to sectoral development by sponsoring the Turkish Real Estate Summit 15 organized by GYODER (Association of Real Estate and Real Estate Investment Companies), the Shopping Mall Investments Conference organized by AYD (Council of Shopping Centers-Turkey), the conference titled “Under Construction” co-organized by YEM (The Building Information Center) and İstanbul Bilgi University, and the “Invest in Kartal, Invest in Future Summit” program organized by NTV.

In 2016, the Company donated TL 100,000 to the “July 15 Solidarity Campaign.

22nd European Real Estate Society Conference

İş REIT sponsored to the 22nd European Real Estate Society Conference on 24-27 June 2015. The European Real Estate Society (ERES) was established to create an international real estate network between academics and professionals across Europe. ERES is dedicated to promoting and advancing the real estate discipline and specifically property based research throughout Europe. The Society incorporates national research societies, academic researchers, practitioners and doctoral students engaged in real estate.

İzmir Konak Municipality Ladies Handball Team Sponsorship

İş REIT sponsored Konak Municipality Ladies Handball Team competing Turkish Handball Ladies 1st League during 2013-2014 season. The team will officially be named as “Ege Perla Konak Belediyespor” throughout the season. Our Company continues to support and take a participant role in sports as in prior years.

Rotary Institute 2012 Organization Sponsorship

İş REIT holds place as platinum sponsor for Rotary Institute 2012 organization between 16th-17th of November, that is hosted in various locations every year and hosted in İzmir this year. The organization was important and effective for the publicity of İzmir and our country realized by the participation of the Rotarians from Turkey, North Africa, the Balkan States, Caucasia and Middle East countries.

Donation for Somalia

In 2011, Is REIC donated TRY 30,000 to Somalia that was devasted by drought.

İzmir Konak Municipality Ladies Football Team Sponsorship

İş REIT sponsored Konak Municipality Ladies Football Team competing Turkish Football Federation 1st League and achieved to take place in Turkey Championship. İş REIT undertakes the sponsorship throughout 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 seasons league with a view to support and take a participant role in sports becoming widespread in all demographic segments on a non-discriminatory basis between men-women and young-old.

MIMED 2010 Students' Prizes

In 2010, İş REIT sponsored the "MIMED 2010 Students' Prizes" organized by the Association of Architectural Education (MIMED), with the aim of providing guidance and support to the future architects with a professional perspective.

Week of Architecture in İzmir

İş REIT was an official sponsor of the "Week of Architecture in İzmir" organized by the İzmir Branch of the Chamber of Architects of Turkey on 4-10 October 2010. The World Day of Architecture is celebrated on the first Monday of October every year, and the event's theme for 2010 was determined as "Better City, Better Life: Sustainable by Design" by the International Union of Architects (UIA). Various activities were organized throughout the week in an effort to bring the society in closer interaction with architecture.

Seda Röder: "Listening to İstanbul" Album

Another project İş REIT supported in 2010 was the album "Listening to İstanbul" by pianist Seda Röder, who has won international acclaim at a young age. Currently working as an associate at the Music Department at Harvard University, Seda Röder is known for her stellar music career. Performing many concerts in Europe and the USA, the musician successfully represents Turkey in the international arena. Sponsored by İş REIT, the album was received with great interest and admiration by music lovers.

Flood Disaster in Pakistan

In the third quarter of 2010, İş REIT donated TRY 30,000 to Pakistan that was devastated by flood.

III. Shopping Centers Conference Sponsorship

İş REIT sponsored "III. Shopping Centers Conference" that is organized by Council of Shopping Centers (AYD) on 3rd March 2011. The leading subject of the conference was sustainability. Keynote speakers of the conference was shopping center investors and leading retailers who orients the sector.
